Primary Functions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs all Accounts Payable/receivable functions for SACA Development and related companies, from receiving approved requisitions to writing checks for vendor payments, check writing, entering final product in the system, acquiring signatures and mail.
  • Works with CFO in reconciling all payable and receivable accounts for SDC and related companies.
  • Prepares and does all deposits for SDC and related companies
  • Prepares all 1099’s for SDC and related companies.
  • Prepares and maintains all SDC and related companies Insurance Portfolio
  • Distributes by-weekly payroll distribution to SDC and related companies
  • Works with payroll administrator on all month end payroll journal entries
  • Meets with CFO weekly to discuss cash management
  • Maintains all cash sheets daily with receivables and payables for SDC and related companies.
  • Collects rents, water, HOA payments for all SDC projects and related companies.
  • Attends board meetings and take minutes for SDC and SACA.
  • Prepares all billing for HOA’ and rental properties for SDC and related companies to include weekly reporting to management
  • Maintains all files to include financial support documentation for SDC and related companies
  • Works with Project manager on all purchases, projects, equipment rental, reporting, etc.
  • Workswith Elm Street Project Manager and CFO on budgeting, purchases and reporting

  • Complete all accounting functions with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Meet all internal and external deadlines.
  • Deal with all funding sources, vendors and clients professionally and in a timely manner

Education, Training or Certification: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:

One to two years related experience and / or training. Accounting Education preferred but not necessary.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization, customers and suppliers.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization, customers and suppliers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables and the need to deal with exceptions and changes in a variety of situations.

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

None required.

Other skills and abilities, including computers, tools, equipment, technical knowledge:

Computer literacy; ability to use accounting software for General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; ability to use Excel, Word and Internet Explorer.
