Full time bilingual (Spanish/English) Permanency Caseworker

The Spanish American Civic Association has a Full-Time Permanency Caseworker position available in partnership with the Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency.  The Permanency Caseworker supervises, coordinates, and provides services to families and their children who are placed in resource homes, group and residential facilities.  The caseworker is responsible for creating and implementing written case plans for children and their families that are approved by the court and supervise the client’s progress on their plans and develops written reviews of plans and present those to the court and other duties.

Qualifications: Six months of experience as a Caseworker Training; or, Successful completion of the County Social Casework intern program; or a bachelor’s degree with a social welfare major; or a bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, sociology, social  welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, human services or other related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social services agency; or any equivalent of experience and training which includes 12 college credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, human services, or other related social sciences. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and clearances.
