Duke Street Plaza

SACA Development proposes to construct three buildings, one a freestanding bank branch and two new mixed-use buildings on South Duke Street in the southeast quadrant of the City of Lancaster. The site consists of two adjoining parcels, one an operating Fulton Bank branch and the other a vacant commercial property that been vacant for over three years and will be demolished due to its inability to be developed.

Mix-Use Concept Plan

The reconfigured assembled parcel will have three new buildings, a new 2,340 square foot freestanding Fulton Bank branch building, and two mixed-use structures. The first mix-use building will have two commercial/retail spaces on the first floor and apartments on the upper floors. The second building will have commercial/retail space on the first floor and apartments on the upper floors. The total number of apartments planned will be approximately 50 consisting of 1 and 2-bedroom units.

The project is a collaborative project with the City of Lancaster which is promoting the redevelopment of the South Duke Street corridor and supporting this redevelopment with millions of dollars of investments in infrastructure along the corridor including streets, public art, sidewalks, and public parks along the corridor. The proposed SACA Development project will remove an eyesore building and replace it with an attractive mixed-use retail and residential development. The anticipated completion date of this project is the Summer of 2024.
