Job Description

As a Rental Manager for low-income housing, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and fostering a respectful, supportive living environment for residents. Your work will directly impact individuals and families in need by helping provide access to safe, stable, and affordable housing options.

In this role, you will manage tenant applications, conduct income verifications, handle lease agreements, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensure that all units remain in compliance with local, state, and federal housing requirements. You will also serve as a key point of contact for residents, offering guidance, support, and timely communication to help them maintain housing stability. Additionally, you will assist management in the rental operational aspects of other company owned commercial properties, as needed.

Your leadership and organizational skills will help streamline operations and maximize occupancy, while your compassion and dedication will play a vital role in building a stronger, more equitable community. Essential Duties:

  • Screens and prepares credit reports on a timely basis.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair program on a timely basis.
  • Works with management on maintenance and repair program for all commercial properties.

Requirements:

  • Education, Training or Certification: Certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Two to four years related experience and / or training.

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

  • PA Driver’s License
  • PATCH Criminal Background Check
  • DHS Child Abuse Certificate
