 Jocelyn’s love for cooking and hospitality began with her father’s influence and grew through years of catering and event decoration. She always dreamed of owning her own business, but needed the right tools and support to make it happen.

That’s when she turned to Tec Centro. Through our Culinary Arts program, Jocelyn earned her sanitation certificate, a key requirement for launching a food business. With guidance from her instructor, Blanca, and encouragement from her classmates, she not only sharpened her skills but also gained the confidence to bring her vision to life.

At Tec Centro, “La Cajita” was born. What started as an idea quickly became a registered LLC, fueled by Jocelyn’s passion and determination. Today, La Cajita is more than just a business, it’s proof of how workforce development empowers individuals to achieve their goals and create impact in their community.

Jocelyn’s story is a reminder that with the right support, dreams can grow into realities that inspire others.
