SACA is seeking a full-time Grant Admin/Development Coordinator to oversee all aspects of the grant process, including researching funding opportunities, preparing competitive proposals, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and managing funder relationships. This position works closely with leadership, program managers, and the fiscal team to secure funding that supports SACA’s mission and long-term organizational growth.
Primary Functions
- Lead SACA’s grant administration and development efforts.
- Research, prepare, and submit grant proposals.
- Ensure compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements.
- Develop relationships with funders and community partners.
- Support organizational funding strategies and program sustainability.

- Increased grant funding and successful proposal submissions.
- Timely completion of grant reports and compliance requirements.
- Strong relationships with public and private funding partners.
- Accurate grants management and tracking.
- Support for organizational growth and strategic initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Prepare grant applications and reports.
- Identify new funding opportunities.
- Maintain grant records and reporting schedules.
- Collaborate with leadership, fiscal staff, and program managers.
- Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and performance outcomes.
Position Specifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in grant writing, grants administration, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
- Experience with government, foundation, and corporate funding sources preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Language Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional grant proposals, reports, and presentations.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to analyze budgets, financial reports, expenditures, percentages, and performance data related to grant-funded programs.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret grant requirements, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
Certificates, licenses, registrations:
No specific certifications required. Grant management or nonprofit development certifications are a plus.
Other skills and abilities, including computers, tools, equipment, technical knowledge:
- Grant writing and grants management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent research and organizational skills
- Budget tracking and reporting experience
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Physical Demands:
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.

This is an in-person position based at SACA’s administrative offices. The work environment is professional, collaborative, and fast-paced, with regular interaction among leadership, program staff, community partners, and funding agencies.
